Sarala Fernando’s coffee table book describing the gardens of Sri Lanka, illuminated by the photography of Lakshman Nadarajah and titled ‘Gardens of Lanka’ was launched on 9th December under the patronage of the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau and the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
The recently appointed Minister of Tourism Achala Jagoda felicitated the author and photographer on their creativity, emphasizing the publicity the book would give to the picturesque and historical value of our natural and built environments and the diversity of the tourism offer in Sri Lanka.
