Day 1:  Airport / Negombo / Sigiriya / Cultural Triangle

Meeting with Assistance at the Airport upon arrival by our Representative, later your tour chauffeur will pick you up at the Exit Gate of the arrival terminal to commence the Tour.

You will leave to Cultural Triangle Region, En-route visit Negombo. Negombo is traditionally a Fishing Village with catamarans by the beach at the backdrop to the Negombo scenery; which later developed as a fishing marketing center.

Visit Sigiriya famous for its historical Rock Fortress which is over 1000 years old and has landscaped gardens, water fountains, a sanctuary and frescoes of the heavenly maidens of Sigiriya.

Dinner & Overnight stay in the Cultural Triangle Region.

Day 2 Sigiriya / Anuradhapura / Mihintale / Sigiriya

After breakfast an excursion to Anuradhapura, known to have the largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization. There are many stone sculptures and some of the most popular stone Buddha Statues in this historical kingdom.

In the afternoon visit Mihintale, the location where Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka or the Cradle of Buddhist Civilization in the Country.

Later return to your hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 3 Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Medirigiriya / Sigiriya

After breakfast, an excursion to Polonnaruwa where you will see many well-preserved ruins of palaces and monasteries. You will witness many brick structures and monuments, stone monuments, Temples, Lakes, and Pagodas improved by ancient Kings.

PM visit Medirigiriya. The Medirigiriya Vatadage is on a high circular stage. Although this is a Ruin, the site has fewer natural damages.

Return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 4 Sigiriya / Dambulla / Nalanda Gedige/ Matale / Kandy

After breakfast leave for Kandy. En-route visit Dambulla. Later visit the ancient Dambulla cave complex also known as the Royal Golden Rock Cave Temple. The area is also known for bird watching. En route visit Nalanda Gedige the Abu Simbel of Sri Lanka. Nalanda Gedige is a remarkable archaeological site in Sri Lanka which features Buddhist – Hindu hybrid Architecture. Visit a spice garden and a batik factory in Matale. Evening arrive at the hotel in Kandy, the last Kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka and the Royal Capital under the King’s Rule until the British Invasion in 1815. View a cultural dance show in Kandy & then visit the most sacred Buddhist establishment in Sri Lanka – the Temple of Tooth at the evening ceremony.

Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 5 Kandy / Peradeniya / Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is best known for having the largest collection of orchids in Asia and many other varieties of plants.

Later leave for Nuwara Eliya – the centre of the hill country. Enjoy a plenty of eye-catching and heart-touching places and spend the evening walking in the cool climate.

Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6 Nuwara Eliya / Ella / Buduruwagala / Yala Or Udawalawe

After breakfast leave to the South of Sri Lanka, En route admire the magnificent view at Ella. Ella is only a small village located high in the mountains.

Then visit Buduruwagala, the term Buduruwagala means “The Rock with the statue of Buddha” and this is exactly what it is. The rock itself is formed into the shape of a kneeling elephant.

Visit one of these two reserves by private Jeep.

PM, a safari in the Yala National Park and enjoy the wilderness as you cruise around in a private jeep. Yala hosts a variety of ecosystems ranging from moist monsoon forests to freshwater and marine wetlands.

It is one of the 70 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) in Sri Lanka, 215 bird species including six endemic species of Sri Lanka. The number of mammals that has been recorded from the park is more than 40, and it has one of the highest leopard densities in the world.

It is also possible to visit instead of Yala the Udawalawa National Park which is a major National park in Sri Lanka renowned for its high population of wild Asian elephants.

Arrive at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 Weligama / Galle / Beach

After breakfast, you will leave to the South Coast, a travel via Galle, En route view the stilt fisherman of Weligama as they fish.

Galle is a city with a colourful history. The 300-year-old Dutch atmosphere is still very much alive around the magnificent Portuguese – Dutch fort and its many historical buildings.

The journey includes a stay at a beach hotel. In the evening relax, enjoy your dinner & overnight stay by the beach.

Day 8 Beach / Colombo / Airport

After breakfast transfer to the airport to connect to your flight for departure. Rooms till 12h00 in the afternoon.

If time permits visit Colombo, the commercial and financial centre of Sri Lanka. This is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings and ruins.

Every two persons sharing a double or twin room at mentioned properties or similar.

Check-in 14hrs & Check-out at 12hrs.
Four nights on half-board basis (breakfast & dinner) & Three nights on bed & breakfast basis (breakfast only) – Total  Seven Nights.
On these Days 1,2,3 & 7 dinner will be included.
Air-conditioned private vehicle with an English speaking chauffeur guide will be provided (Private Tour).
No vehicle will be provided on any free days if any (as per program). Last day Transfer to the airport included.
Fuel & local assurance for vehicle & passengers while travelling included.
The chauffeur guide will look after his own meals & accommodation.
Private Jeep to visit Yala or Udawalawa reserve included for half a day – (Entrance fees to be paid directly by clients at the reserve).

  • All entrance fees as per program to be paid directly will cost around USD 210 per person(Anuradhapura / Isurumuniya & Sri Maha Bodiya / Mihintale / Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Medirigiriya / Dambulla / Nalanda / Kandy temple / Cultural Dance Show / Kandy Museum / Peradeniya / Buduruwagala / Yala or Udawalwa Reserve) No credit card payments are accepted at these sites. Subject to change slightly sometimes details are provided with rates as applicable at the moment. (Children under 12 years will be charged half rate 50%)
  • Personal spending (tips, laundry, mini bar, telephone, beverages etc.)
  • The right to use video cameras at sites – most places will allow you to use video cameras once the entrance fee is paid except at The Temple of the Tooth in Kandy (USD 05 per Videocamera per location).
  • Medical expenses, travel insurance, international flights.

Sri Lanka Visa charges USD 52 per person  & for SAARC countries USD 20 per person, can be obtained directly via the internet please visit this site. http://www.eta.gov.lk/. The process is very simple payments can be paid online & with the confirmation document print out & code you have to submit passport on arrival only. The passport has to be valid for six months from the day of arrival return air tickets & sufficient funds or reservations arranged for the holiday should be with you.

Kandy Perahara Period for ten nights 30th July to 08th Aug 2025 – only if clients are spending the nights in Kandy during the Perahara Period, a extra supplement will be applicable – USD 60 per room per night extra.

For Reservations during, Super Peak Period – 21 December 2024 to 10 January 2025 period please contact us for further details. As Peak supplements apply at hotels during this period & this will change according to the category of hotels and actual days of stay at each hotel.

If required we can modify the program to have the last night in a beach hotel south of Colombo or in Negombo then proceed to the airport. Any other modifications to the program can be arranged as per individual preferences.

CANCELLATION POLICY – You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the reservations which has to be acknowledged by our company in writing. If the cancellation is made 45 days before the first date of the reservation we will retain your 1st small deposit to cover our costs. If the cancellation is notified less than 45 days prior to the first date of reservation following additional cancellation charges will apply.
