1

Day 1: Airport / Colombo

Arrival at the Colombo international airport and then transfer to the hotel. P.M. visit the fascinating city of Colombo which links the past with the present.

You will visit the Fort area, the commercial center, Pettah – Colombo’s bustling bazaar area, cinnamon garden which comprises of large residences.

Visit the Buddhist temple in Kelaniya. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 Colombo / Galle

After breakfast leave for Galle – a city with a colourful history. The 300-year-old Dutch atmosphere is still very much alive around the magnificent Portuguese – Dutch fort and its many historical buildings.

In the evening relax by the pool side and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Galle / Yala / Tissamaharama

After breakfast leave to Tissamaharama. P.M. visit Yala, travel for a safari in the Yala National Park and enjoy the wilderness as you cruise around in a private jeep. The view of the wild elephants seen in small and large herds are undoubtedly the best thing you will see at Yala. You will also witness herds of spotted deer and the sight of a leopard sunning itself or drinking water at a water hole will be a memorable experience. Overnight at a hotel in Tissamaharama situated nearby with dinner.

Day 4 Tissamaharama / Kuda Oya / Buduruwagala / Ella – Bandarawela Region

After breakfast leave to the Ella – Bandarawela region. En-route take a nature walk in Kuda Oya. Visit a village, walk through the paddy fields enjoy the company of the villagers & have lunch. Then visit Buduruwagala. The name Buduruwagala means “the rock with the statue of Buddha” seven figures are carved in this rock with a massive 51-foot Buddha statue in the Abhaya Mudra gesture at the center.

Stay overnight in Ella or the Bandarawela Region.

Day 5 Ella – Bandarawela Region

After breakfast, go trekking in Ella. This small town is used as a base for plenty of trekking expeditions to the surrounding countryside. Also visit the Ella Gap, Rawana Ella Falls, Little Adams Peak and Bambaragala Peak among many other varied pleasant walks with stunning scenery. Like most places in Sri Lanka the nicest thing about Ella is its climate. Quite similar to a hot English summer. Hot during the day and cool at night. If you fancy climbing the peaks that are dotted around Ella, make sure you have adequate sunscreen and water.

Stay overnight in Ella or Bandarawela.

Day 6 Ella / Nuwara Eliya / Tea Plantation / Kandy

After breakfast leave for Kandy via Nuwara Eliya; the center of the hill country. Visit a tea plantation and witness the manufacture of the world-famous Ceylon tea. Gregory Lake is a popular location in Nuwara Eliya and Shanthipura (the city view point).  P.M. – visit the city of Kandy. The most popular landmark of Kandy is its lake which is at the center of the city. You can visit the Kandy Museum. Late in the evening view the Kandyan cultural performance.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay with dinner included.

Day 7 Kandy / Pinnawela / Peradeniya / Kandy

After breakfast leave for Pinnawala & visit the elephant orphanage which was established to feed, nurse & house young elephants abandoned by their mothers. As the young ones often fall into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought period. You can visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya too. It is well known for its large variety of plants. The garden is best known for its collection of orchids the largest in Asia.

Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay with dinner included.

Day 8 Kandy / Matale / Knuckles Range / Dambulla

After breakfast leave for Dambulla, en route visit Matale. Witness and learn about spices at the Spice Garden in Matale, and experience the great riches of Sri Lankan cuisine and traditional Ayurveda therapy.

Surrounding Matale are the Knuckles foot hills called” Wiltshire.” The Knuckles mountain range is a special landmark of Matale.

The Alu Vihara Temple on the Northern side of the town, is the historic location where the Pali Canon was first written down completely in text on ola (palm leaves).

Then visit the Dambulla cave temple, The ancient Dambulla cave complex dates back to the 3rd and 2nd centuries B.C. The area is also known for bird watching.

Day 9 Dambulla / Anuradhapura / Mihintale / Dambulla

After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura to visit the ruins of the first Royal capital founded in the 05th century BC. It is known to have the largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization in this World Heritage city Anuradhapura.

In the afternoon visit Mihintale, the sacred mountain of Mihintale is considered the location where Buddhism was first introduced to the island of Sri Lank or the Cradle of Buddhist Civilisation in the Country.

Return back to the hotel for overnight.

Day 10 Sigiriya / Medirigiriya

After breakfast visit Sigiriya, famous for its historical Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is over 1000 years old and has landscaped gardens, water fountains, a sanctuary and frescoes of the heavenly maidens of Sigiriya.

Later proceed to Medirigiriya. Which is situated in a beautiful surrounding has a history going in to the pre-Christian era. The Brahmi characters found on the bricks and the some of the stone carvings is an indication of the long history of this site. A well-preserved medicine boat too can be seen here.

Return back to the hotel for overnight.

Day 11 Polonnaruwa / Passikudah

After breakfast visit Polonnaruwa where you will see many well-preserved ruins of palaces and monasteries. You will witness many brick structures and monuments, stone monuments, Temples, Lakes, and Pagodas improved by ancient Kings.

Then leave to the East coast Passikudah.

In the evening relax, have dinner & stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 Passikudah – Beach Day

Rest and relax on your free day at the beach resort on Half Board Basis. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 13 Passikudah – Beach Day

Day 14 Passikudah / Negombo

Check out 12h00 & leave for Negombo.

In the evening relax & overnight at the hotel near the airport.

Day 15 Negombo / Airport

Airport After breakfast transfer to the airport for departure. Rooms are available until 12h00 in the afternoon.

  • Please change foreign currency in to SLRS at the airport after customs, there are many 24hrs bank counters at the airport as all these payments have to be made only in SLRS. No credit card payments are accepted at these sites.  Subject to change slightly sometimes details are provided with rates as applicable at the moment. (Children under 12 years will be charged half rate 50%)
  • CANCELLATION POLICY –  You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of       the reservations which has to be acknowledged by our company in writing. If the cancellation is made 15 days before the first date of the reservation we will retain your 1st small deposit to cover our costs. If the cancellation is notified less than 14 days prior to the first date of reservation following additional cancellation charges will apply.

  • All rates quoted are in US Dollars & nett per person inclusive of all applicable taxes.
  • Every two persons sharing a double or twin room at mentioned properties or similar.
  • Welcomed at the airport by our representative.
  • Check-in 14h00 & Check-out 12h00.
  • Six nights on half-board basis (breakfast & dinner) and eight nights on bed & breakfast basis (breakfast only).
  • Air-conditioned private vehicle with an English speaking chauffeur will be provided (Private Tour).
  • No vehicle will be provided on free days if any (as per program).
  • Fuel & local assurance for vehicle & passengers while travelling included.
  • The chauffeur will look after his meals & accommodation by himself.
  • Basic private Jeep to visit reserve included for a half day – (Entrance fees for the reserve to be paid directly by clients). If for any reason the mentioned reserve is closed we shall make arrangements to visit another reserve.

  • The rights to use video cameras at sites – most places they are free when you pay the entrance fees except at Kandy Tooth Temple & Pinnawela Elephant orphanage there are extra charges for Video camera’s only USD 05 per Videocamera per location.
  • Medical expenses, travel insurance, international flights.
  • Sri Lanka Visa charges USD 35 per person for NON SAARC countries & for SAARC countries USD 20 per person, can be obtained directly via the internet please visit this site. http://www.eta.gov.lk/. The process is very simple payments can be paid online & with the confirmation document print out & code you have to submit passport on arrival only. The passport has to be valid for six months from the day of arrival return air tickets & sufficient funds or reservations arranged for the holiday should be with you. All nationals have to obtain a visit / tourist visa prior to arrival (Visas are not issued on arrival)

    PCR test done inside 72hrs obligatory to enter Sri Lanka before boarding the flight.

  • There will be extra regulations concerning COVID 19 safety measures in relation to the visit visa –

    (Revised Health Guideline require that all the Passengers / Tourist Guests should be holding a Pre-departure PCR Negative Result Test Report

    done within 72 hours prior to arrival in Sri Lanka. (The passengers should submit original certificate with a properly translated copy in English)

     

    All guest who have received Covid19 Vaccinations should be holding the original vaccination certificate with a proper English Translation,

    (The vaccinations completed the 2nd dose & 02 Weeks should have elapsed  before entering Sri Lanka. These guests will be considered as fully vaccinated guests.   

    All the guests should undergo Arrival PCR (On the arrival day). The results will be provided inside 24hours & the clients can proceed with their tours.

    The 1st night accommodation should be reserved at a hotel authorized by the health authorities near the Katunayaka international airport in Negombo or Colombo.

    (Depending on the Covid situation worldwide certain countries passport holders will not be allowed to enter Sri Lanka.)

    Our Prices does not include (PCR  USD 40 per person -Test  on arrival) as per Sri Lanka Health Ministry Guidelines & the compulsory COVID insurance issued cover for 30days validly – USD 12 per person.

    Children under 12years are exempted from the arrival PCR test but the Covid insurance cover has to be obtained for children too.
